How do I insure my car for long enough to sell it privately

There must be a simple answer to my question. I have imported a Land Rover from the UK. I have transferred insurance from my old Volvo to my Land Rover. I now need to sell my old Volvo. How do I insure my Volvo, so that (a) I can take it to a garage to get repairs done and (b) allow a prospective buyer to test drive it…

There must be a simple answer to my question. I have imported a Land Rover from the UK. I have transferred insurance from my old Volvo to my Land Rover. I now need to sell my old Volvo. How do I insure my Volvo, so that (a) I can take it to a garage to get repairs done and (b) allow a prospective buyer to test drive it around the block? All answers welcomed. Charlie
