Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

just make the point (if it was same issue) that it doesn't seem to be fixable and that it's in too long for repairs and that you have a right to a phone that works.

don't know of any specific legislation saying that you have the right to a new phone as opposed to it being repaired.

If its the same fault 3 times and hasn't been fixed, then you can argue for a 'replacement' as the repairs should be permanent.
Doesn't mean it will be a new phone. May not even be the same phone but similar.

this story has now reached the dark side. I had it at home still in the repair packing until Monday I swiched my sim and it worked away for a few hours (as it has done the last 3 times it was repaired) but in the evening I tried to make a few calls and "call ended" straight away. so I returned it to the shop and as someone said they may replace it with a another/similar phone. However, after I got home the guy in the shop rang me to say he saw a small crack on the top of the screen and in the case if I send it back for repair (4th time) it would not be covered by guarantee and I would be liable for the cost of repair. The crack, which I didn't see, was NOT caused in my house. I am sure of that but of course it will probably be my word against theirs. This problem has been going on since 2nd of Jan and I am totally sick of it. I am paying €60 a month for this pleasure. Can anyone advise me what to do now. cut my losses... stop paying and get a new phone??? My contract is not up till August. I do appreciate any advice

I,m not too sure why you would look for advice on a mickey mouse site like this.the best thing you should do is get into consumer affairs and get proper advice there from people who actually know what they are talking about.they will tell you what your rights are

You are entitled to one of the 3 rs from the retailer you purchased the phone from in the republic of ireland. (not samsung). repair replace refund.

you didn't have to accept multiple repairs if it was the same issue as the repair should be permanent. So if the same problem it has been repaired for reoccurs you ask for one of the other solutions.

If you didnt go to retailer for the repair .. and went straight to samsung, they may want the opportunity to repair.
