cancelled account and received my first bill

    Hi,
    I ordered 2 mobile sim only plans online ( 6 month special 29.98, thereafter 50). on 28th january 2019.
    I received sims a couple days later but that when the nightmare began, i.e trying to port my numbers over.
    I spent hours between online chat and cs over 2 days and there was nobody that could assist me.
    I had enough and after many more hours waiting cancelled my subscription .
    I was told that there would be no charges as I had not incurred any usage on my plan.
    I asked her to delete my banking details from her system, which she said she had done.

    Today I received a bill from eir for 50.42 payment due to be taken 7th march.

    Is this a joke, eir? do eir think I’m going to spend hours on the phone again,
    hopefully someone from eir on boards can resolve this.
