Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't really care about your offence over the Cat Ladies. But let's talk about pua.

Seems as a man you can't win. You're expected to be born a natural. Most men aren't, some are hopless with women. I certainly was in my early 20s.

So I worked and studied and improved my game. But that now makes me the bad guy.

Oh well, at the end of the day I'm the one laughing.

I think we both know that's not true.

    Funny scene. Great movie.

It's not waffle though. Maybe you should reading some yourself? And I don't mean a Guardian tier review of the Mystery Method.

As for the Cat Ladies, well they exist. Are bitter single older women a protected class now?
Do you know any? I'm sure they exist but I think tv exaggerates things too. Sometimes being single full stop on their part seems to be equated with bitter. It's enjoyment from guys who were turned down by women when they were younger (this has been admitted here) but they are not all unhappy with being single, and their detractors come off as far more resentful.

I've met them yes. And when I was younger and more naive I would sometimes approach older women. The contempt some older woman have for younger men would make your head spin. I don't know why when they literally could have Chad every night of the week.

Anyway who cares? Im drunk now. The gender war serves no purpose. We should all just get along.

Chad is slang for a sexually successful man. I.E. a stud, a player.

Chad is the guy who rocks up to the nightclub, skips the que because everyone loves him, and leaves with two supermodels for a threesome.

Actually, that's a fair point Wibbs. Using "right-thinking" was the wrong choice of words there. Mea culpa.

The point I was trying to convey was that (outside of impressionable youngsters) most men outside of their early twenties should be able to see PUA for the waffle that it is.

Most young men are desperate for sex and if Stacey is not putting out then yes, you can have Chad.

    No

Well a minute ago, it was older women are dried up old spinsters who can't get a man. Now they can have any hot young man they want, but are rejecting them.

You can! I wouldn't say no to an older woman for a ons (my oldest has been 36).

Do you really think a horny 19 year old with beer goggles would turn down sex? (Provided she's non fat, non hideous).

"Stacey" and "Chad"? The last time I looked down that rabbit hole - in fairness, it's been a while - those two descriptors were far more from the so called "Incels", rather than "PUA", or even "MGTOW" types. Of the three broad types I would say the PUA types at least had my respect, regardless of their theories, for one aspect alone. Now we can go back and forth on their philosophy and methods, but they saw themselves as not being up to scratch and sought to improve themselves. The other two took the same "red pill" and decided Game Over, we're taking our balls home(literally) and are not gonna play any more.

Sounds like you are describing the black pillers rather than the red pilled. Red pilled would be, for example, coming to the realisation that women in the western world actually have it better than men. It's not sinking into depression and giving up i.e. black pilled.

As for the mgtowers? Those guys are idiots. 'I'm going to boycott something I never had a chance of getting in the first place.' Yeah ok buddy.

Regarding the PUA stuff. I read a few books on the subject and picked up a few tips here and there. One doesn't need to dive in and start running pre scripted routines. Now being a tall sexy fukcer was a bigger help!

How many 39-year-olds are as hot as a fit 23-year-old? How many have the same stamina in bed? How many are going to want the same life experiences as a 23-year-old? You'd have to offer something pretty damn special to make up for being so old.

You gave out yards to the guy a few pages back who said women in their 20s are hotter than those in their 30s and now you say a fella who is 39 has no lead in his pencil and they are not 'hot and fit'.

Show me where I disagreed that women in their twenties are generally hotter than women in their thirties. Show me where I ever said otherwise. I'm waiting.

I love how you're trying to make out that I'm being hypocritical when that's not the case at all. I'm saying it's hilarious that men think women over 30 are old and unattractive and don't stop to consider how they look themselves to a woman who is 10-15 years younger. That's the only irony here.

Mostly BS as well. Men 'have to work more hours'? No they don't. I don't have a single financial advantage from being a woman. Men tend to have lower education levels...well, whose fault is that? They have the same opportunities as women.

Bald and fat aren't insults. They're descriptions. I don't know many men of nearly 40 who have the same looks and head of hair they had at 20, or the same energy.

'Cat lady' is just a way to make women feel afraid of being older and single.

Eh Hello, I'm 45, fitter now than I have ever been. Have hair, no beer belly, all my own teeth, no fillings or anything like that. We are out there. :)

Sweeping generalisation or some truth in the fact that if a man wants a woman he'll chase her or let her know and if he doesn't he's just not interested?

This evening's conversation with some friends with the above nearly accepted as 100% accurate.

    So what you think?

I know all men are different but in general what do you think.

Everyone get back on topic (above). Failure to do so will see bans if needed, because i am loath to close a thread as interesting as this one.

its not a definitive list so the length is irrelevant, just a few simple points.

Men also do tend to work more hours than women too, by nature of their employment rather than presupposed on their gender. Like if a water mains bursts at 2 in the morning, generally the people repairing it are men....

I`d agree with you on the education bit, I chose not go to college so par for the course on that one

Have no idea where this falling off a cliff after 30 came from? A certain percentage of people pre 30 are really good looking, a certain percentage of people after 30 are really attractive, both sexes, pre 30 people have some advantage in youth but it's not like they are champions of the game of life to be fresh and pretty pre 30. The champions start emerging post 30 when people get the face that reflects their life and personality and the amount of kicks in the arse life saw fit to dole out.

For me if I was available I would prefer to date women in and around my own age basically because we would hopefully want the same things at this stage of life. Where as dating a younger person, yes great for the ego and I'm sure lots of fun but the thoughts of going out clubbing and drinking would put me off. :D
