What exactly is a standard Phone Screen made of? And these "Tempered Glass" items that people advertise to sell, - what is the benefit of a adding a potentially bulky thick sheet of tempered glass to an already bulky phone? And would the Phone not be much more sensitive and difficult to touch with a thick sheet of glass…

What exactly is a standard Phone Screen made of?

And these "Tempered Glass" items that people advertise to sell, - what is the benefit of a adding a potentially bulky thick sheet of tempered glass to an already bulky phone? And would the Phone not be much more sensitive and difficult to touch with a thick sheet of glass added onto it?

Companies should be working to make things smaller not bigger?! Phones seem to be getting bigger and bigger and more awkward to carry around!
