    Hi guys,

Would anyone know where I could
source/ purchase one of these aerial
sockets, it has one tag for center wire
and two tags on outer, one for braiding
and one for wire to circuit board.
    Any information would be greatly
    appreciated .

    Regards

    Hi lgs 4,
I contacted RS yesterday re 75 ohm fitting , they got back today stating they do not stock this type of fitting, I think it maybe obsolete at time ?

What’s wrong with the old one? Looks like it needs to be closed up with a pliers.

I got some on line last year.
Not the same mounting .... they were held through the panel with nuts.

    Search for
panel mounted 75 ohm coax female
    should provide some results.

Of course you could always get whatever socket will fit and change the cable end to suit the new socket.
