Can we all take a moment to pause and reflect on this sad day today folks. A fine gentleman and a valued poster who's opinion counted for something has departed our circles.

Go gentle into the night old friend we'll remember you will and continue the good fight in your absence

    In 20legend we trust

Easy now, a few people went mad when we got a few injuries and he wasn't around to receive a long ball that bypassed the midfield

He has been a complete rock for us over the past few months.

Just need to bring in someone to play alongside him.

I think Smalling has been great next to him and "on-the-ball-ability" to one side, Smalling is the better defender.

He wont win that if it's a public vote, people will vote for the biggest name.. though Pogba has been decent, Lindelof deserves

Agree I'd like to see Lindelof win it but all three deserve it. They've all been very good and won't be any complains if it's Herrera or Pogba.

Not necessarily - Martial has beaten Pogba to POM already this season. Lindelof won it vs Martial and De Gea the month after that too.

Unfortunately can't respond in thread as it's locked but some of ye would seriously wana catch a grip of yourselves.

I was responding a reasonable post from mickjag regarding the merits of ole v poch, giving a point of view from an opposition fan yet the reaction was that of bunch of teenage girls.

I wasn't pissing on your parade after beating palace as quite frankly the race for 4th isn't on my mind at the minute so that result is of zero concern to me

Look at you, with your concerns of such importance that 4th place isn't on your mind.
    Yet, here you are.

Going into a club thread and posting "I hope you appoint manager X, because I think he'll fail, hur hur hur" is just a wind-up and as juvenile as it gets

Anyone for a calendar year 2019 alternative table? :D

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

Hold your horses there chief! it's only really a wind up if you post something like that in a certain thread. Otherwise it's perfectly acceptable and in no way shape or form tantamount to trolling

Great you cleared that up cos people were wondering. Teenage girls and no interest in the race for fourth. Thanks, noted.

I saw a stat that I could be completely making up but Lukaku is just behind Salah in away goals which deserves a lot of credit.

Ole has had one or two miss-steps but with the results he has had and if Spurs keep Spursing it'll be a lot easier to choose him over Poch if this train keeps going.

I saw a post in the last thread along the lines of “we haven’t been comfortable against the bottom teams in years” which is just a massive exaggeration imo, we won 14 and drew 3 of our 20 games against the bottom 10 last season and scored over(!) 3 goals a game.

It's not a joke to the people that like fellaini!!! The ones that still mourne and miss his elbows every day!!!!!

Serious tho..... that's how the debate gets rehashed. Starts out as a joke then it grow into a full on 10 page debate with endless long posts.

Just an opinion and not a dig at you.
