Not sure where to post this really so here goes..
Q: where can I upload /store photos from my phone. If there is free storage roughly how many photos can I store.
I have some old photos in Dropbox but it filled up very quickly.
    Thanks..

    Try google photos

Might not be exactly what you want, but worth a try

If you have a gmail account then Google photos allows you unlimited photos if you upload them in a certain resolution.

Install the app on your phone and that will automatically upload them for you when connected to wifi.

Thank you for the info above.

    I have a further question.
There are lots of photos on an old laptop which hasn't been used in ages. They are on Picasa .
Would it be possible to transfer those photos onto to google photos.
    Thanks again.

I think if you link the Picasso account to the same google photos account they’ll automatically be there

Google photos is great but just be aware that in the free service, your photo quality is compressed. So your original photo sizes are not saved.

This isn't a deal breaker for most users unless you would like the original high quality photos.

They do have paid storage for full size photos.
