Squeak when reversing

    Posting on behalf of someone else. *I do not drive so please forgive my vagueness

    Car is 2011 Kia Ceed petrol

    Sometimes when the misses is reversing out of the garden there's a squeaky sound coming from the car it also squeaks when initially taking off for a few seconds then goes.

    Also she is complaining that the gear stick is getting a bit 'Sticky' could these problems be related?

    Have the car booked in for mechanic Wednesday coming.

    The first time I leave that trouble for mechanic, it is too wild shot (my "fan club" screaming). Need to see and touch, then I know the answer.
