    Hello; I am in France; todays Ryanair flight home is fully booked; as it happens I will be in the airport anyway;
    before automatic check in existed , Ryanair would sell a ticket ,if someone did not show ,40 minnutes before the flight;

    is this still so, I chatted on line with a Ryanair person who says no, is he right?

    Thanks

    If Ryanair told you no, then I'd assume the answer is indeed no. Ryanair never oversell their flights and don't even have a procedure to handle booking cancellations, so they probably have no system in place for last-minute no-show ticket sales. Doesn't hurt to ask again at the desk if you're there anyway, but it's unlikely you'll get a seat. You could always check with some other airlines to see if they have any spots available, though.
