delighted, only got around watching it over the last 2 weeks. What a show, hopefully they do well at the awards, as it would be well deserved

On the website it says ‘not available in my location’ and on the app it just says ‘not available’.
I’ve the house to myself for 24 hours and was going to binge watch it.

Season 1 is available if you change your location to UK. Amazon chat can handle that for you. S2 isn't free though

Just finished Season 2 and it's absolutely amazing! Actually slightly enjoyed it more than the first season. The cast is amazing (Hot priest! Olivia Colman!) A bit sad that's it for the whole show :(

Yeah, second series managed to be better than the first, I thought; the first was so well done it was hard to top, but PWB has developed a very complex damaged character that has made progress in the second series, without losing the humour.
There's still faint hope for more:

    Offtopic:
Crashing is available on All4 for PWB newcomers.
Her first written go at a tv show - some very, very funny bits.

"The series had its origin in two short plays - one about Anthony and Lulu, and one about Sam and Fred. They were well received, and Waller-Bridge was convinced to expand the story into a screenplay."

    Similar beginnings to Fleabag.

contact Amazon support and tell them your are in the UK, more content on it anyway, plus you get the premier league matches when they show them

I assume this was a screening of one of the recent shows in London as she said she's done with the live show for now.

Curious how it would translate to a cinema screen.

I was at one of the London dates and it didn't come close to season two of the TV show in my opinion.

Watched both seasons over the last two weeks. I loved it and her. Brilliantly written and acted by everybody in it. Never a bum note or a wasted scene.

Season 1 is so funny. I feel it gets over looked because Season 2 is so....well...Season 2 :D . But the little things like the dinosaur and poor Harry in the shower :pac: are just comedy gold.

I know all shows aren't for everyone but I just can't see the appeal of this at all. I found all the characters annoying and unfunny. It's just not for me I guess but I'm just very puzzled by the acclaim it's received.

Only watched it for the first time over Christmas and loved it. That said, I can totally see why it wouldn't appeal to some people, it's not your typical sitcom and there are parts where laughs are thin on the ground.

We have an android box and watch it on they. Is there a problem with Amazon prime at the moment? It's strange it's not available there given the amount they paid for it?

Thanks for the heads up! Just watched it there

Extremely powerful. As you say, very moved.

Definite watch for everyone . I absolutely love her!

I went to see the play and thought that it didn't live up to the very lofty standards that Season 2 set which is peak fleabag in my book.

have since watched the 1st 2 episodes in season 2.. the 1st one was a vast improvement on anything in season 1.. but feel ep. 2. is going to far.. the priest is OTT imo.. but will watch the rest - see how it pans out..
but wow - the play - such scope.. quite profound - and so well structured.. wow (still shaking my head and blinking in disbelief).. won't say anymore for fear of spoiling it for anyone

Season 2 is superb. But if you don't like the priest, it'll be a tough sell :D

Watched the play. Excellent, some performance for nearly 80 minutes straight.

Watched it this morning. I'm not a fan of theatre, which I tried out when I lived in London, but coz it's PWB, I had to give it a go. Though I'm not converted to theatre, it certainly solidified my admiration for her. Great performance, but the story-telling was fantastic. It was quite emotional at the end, without being ham-fisted.
Very interesting to see the origin of the series in this way, and to see how it played out (boom).

I rewatched the awkward family dinner episode last night. Think it's one of my favourite episodes of any show ever.

Oh meant to get back to this sooner.. I watched the rest of series 2..

In a nutshell - series 2 was better than series 1.. I got to like the priest somewhat as the series went on.. gee what a hottie - and I liked their interaction.. the cursing annoyed me at the start but when I "got to know him" it was ok within the context..
There are some v v funny scenes in the tv show.. 1&2.. the final show in S1 is soo funny.. the god mothers speech.. loved EP6 S1 and EP 1&4 S2.. the dialogue around the mothers funeral was soo funny.. and there was some depth in the TV show too I felt - like what the father said in EP6 S2 "i think you know how to love... " etc..

So it was more comedy for me than drama.. and I prefer drama with comedy i suppose..

Perhaps that is why I loved the play so much.. I got to know what was behind her conflicting behaviour.. the insecurity... the promiscuity - the comedy... ("slutty pizza" lol..).. thru the play I got an understanding of the timeline between her Mother's death.. the affair, the cafe and loosing Boo etc..
She was actually in pain - and just trying to self soothe.. and lost her way.. and ended up sleeping with her best mates boyfriend.. she was still grieving her mothers death.. dealing with insecurities..

In the TV I would never of got that.. there was v little mention of Boo in the 2nd series really.. although there is plenty of evidence to show that she loved and missed her Mum..
But it is thru the play that I can really understand why she slept with her best mate's man...
I guess the TV series didn't have continuity for me -like EP 3 S1 was sooo boring.. and didn't like EP2&5 on S2..

So - acting superb on the TV show but OMG she was incredible on stage - with no other characters to rely on, nothing.. just some recorded voices and a stool.. the scenes she could conjure in my head.. wow.. ingenious.. incredible acting.. like the way she held the "tooth rodent" pose after he said "awesome".. man that will stick with me for a long time lol.. soo funny.. but like when I think about particular scenes, I have to work out whether they wer from the TV series or stage; her details on stage was so great.. on all characters - and with only herself..

    Man I could go on...

But yeah.. wow.. she is something else.. can't wait to see what Phoebe gets up to next...

There wasn't supposed to be a second series. PWB said she came up with the idea for one but found it hard to bridge the gap between the dislike the viewers may have had for fleabag at the end of S1 when they found out what she 'did to Boo'.

I think she was trying to show the salvation of Fleabag, so it would have been hard to have too much of Boo in it. I liked the bits they had though.

There are so many small little bits in S2 that you could miss. Like the bit after she goes to see the lawyer and is waiting outside for Claire. She looks up at trees swaying in the breeze. It's a calmness we've never seen in her before. Must have been all the pine nuts :p :pac:
