Molde currently wondering how many zeros is too many to ask for to let Solskjaer out of his contract.

Per what the lads commentating on bt said if the player tries to make the frame of his body bigger i.e putting your arms out and the revs review they deem it a penalty, the fact kimpembe turned his back has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Forgot how much football can piss you off.

PSG handed that to United on a plate with the mistakes that led to the first 2 United goals and then a general level of complacency that prevented them driving on for the win. Especially considering how professional they were in Manchester. Wondering if this is the begiinning of the end of the middle eastern investment in Paris. How many miserable nights like this can they take?

Had to laugh at Neymar on the sidelines. How's that big balls move working out for him?

He'll be at Madrid in time for the start of the new season.

Was a penalty for me. He knows where his hand is and deliberately left it out where it had a chance of a block. Idiotic to turn your back, literally defending 101, and shot was going over anyway.

Massive decision. Rashford was cool as ice though, what a penalty. Bye bye Paris

Real Madrid and now PSG out, all is right with the world again

He’s not under contract too them

It doesn't matter how much PSG spend on Neymar, Mbappe and the rest up front.

As long as they have dross like Kehrer playing for them, they'll do nothing in Europe. He was to blame for United's first two goals.

I'd say Bailly is counting his lucky stars tonight... shocker 30 mins from him almost cost utd.

At least United had the sense to take him off or the luck to get him injured. PSG left Kehrer on and that's what cost them.

Might want to tell Ole that because he said himself in an interview yesterday he doesn't know his contractual status with Molde.

BBC reported yesterday he is no longer contracted to Molde.

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

He's been shown up for the out of date spoofer he is. There was never a problem with that United squad.

The good news is that Mbappe isnt going to overshadow him this season.

The next evolution in football is to coach players to just shoot at arms constantly.

    That and armless defenders.

It's only right United get City in the next round so they can put a stop to their quadruple attempt.

Hadn't seen any scores since around the 60th minute. Log in and see United are through. And even better it's to a dodgy hand ball. Delighted for PSG with all their diving and play acting.

    Well done United.

I don’t think the guy meant to handle it in a straight forward deliberate way looking back at the replay..was his arm in an unnatural position ? Certainly it was without question and enabled him to present himself as a bigger target so a pen in my view...

Oddly I think playing away with nothing to lose will suit Man Utd as they are now to a tee. Not saying they'll win but they could give PSG a scare.

More than a scare it turns out.

Lovely that it was Kimpembe that have away the pen seeing as he scored when should not have been in the pitch in the first leg

With the quality Utd had in MF tonight that would be a bigger bottle job from PSG than v Barca. As a pool supporter i don't know whether to laugh or cry

That penalty from rashford was brilliant under the circumstances.

United could only bring on two teenagers when trailing in the tie.

United missed 10 squad players through injury and their best player through suspension.

Plenty of PSG players will dive and whinge when it suits their cause and they get to play training “league” games in between cooking the books for FFP and champions league games...

I don’t give a cats Fanny if the peno looks a bit soft......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,566 ✭✭✭✭yabadabado

It's also great to see VAR making the correct calls.

    Superb result

I thought when they got him that was built in to the deal and if as is been reported he is out of contract with them then they get nothing

Not at all, I just see no reason to be pulling up 3 week old posts when your team has just secured a massive result. I'd prefer to celebrate the win myself than pulling out a post to "get one up" on a rival fan.

I'm by no means a United fan but I had no issue with them going through. A quote from earlier after Greenwood came on.

They can. No country protection from the quarters.

Yep they can indeed. Could theoretically have 2 English QFs

That's all over now, could be United Spurs for example (of teams currently qualified).

If Pool make it through and draw United this place might spontaneously combust though...:pac:
