Disc vs Rim brake - a personal question

So after two crashes in quick suggestion, the bike is holding up, and I'll be racing on it for now but there are now a dent or two on it and the rear triangle appears tight. if it's a road bike, there's nothing wrong with rim brakes.

Yeah that weight with 50mm deep wheels is a good mix of aero + lightweight
