Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need advice on backing up my Google/YouTube Accounts

I have an Android phone that has multiple Google/Gmail accounts.

These are accounts that previously were on my older phones and I added them to my new phone.

One of these old accounts links to my YouTube account which has all my music playlists.

If I backup my Main Google account on my current phone
will the other google accounts get backed up also or do I have to back up each one. I'm concerned that if I lose my pH I could lose access to my YouTube playlists.

If I'm understand the issue correctly, the music playlists are saved in YouTube and not the phone?
If so then you don't need to do anything on the phone to create a backup. If you lost the phone, you sign in with the ID and password to access the playlists.

You could copy the playlists to your primary Google account and get rid of some of the older accounts if they aren't being used.

Thanks for advice, yes the playlists are on YouTube. I found a link below on moving your YouTube account to another email.

Im not great at remembering passwords and tend to get locked out of Google accounts that were linked to my phone because Ive never had to repeatedly sign in.

Once the goggle/gmail account is on your ph your always signed in so if you lose your phone and can't remember the password the YouTube account is gone.

That's why you are able to reset your password by having access to the phone number also.

    Two things you should do.

Simplify your life by moving everything you need to one Google account. No point juggling multiple accounts for no reason.

Use a password manager such as Lastpass if you're useless with passwords.
