Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Great chance for both Arsenal and Man United to make some ground in the battle for a Champions League place.

Lucas Torreira misses out through suspension; Anthony Martial back available after injury. Team news:
Arsenal XI: Leno; Sokratis, Koscielny, Monreal; Maitland-Niles, Ramsey, Xhaka, Kolasinac; Ozil, Aubameyang, Lacazette.

Manchester Utd XI: De Gea; Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw; Fred, Matic, Pogba; Dalot, Lukaku, Rashford.

Looks an attacking line-up from Emery. Martial on the bench for United.

How do you see the game going? I'll go for a 2-2 draw.

Thought Lacazette was going to finish that. Quality ball from Kolasinac.

And now Lukaku with a big chance.

Xhaka scores. Poor from De Gea.

It moved a lot but you'd still be expecting De Gea to get close to that

Desperate stuff from De Gea. He should have been able to throw his cap on it.

Seems like de gea has made more errors this year than the rest of his career combined

It moved an awful lot tbf.

Both sides looking vulnerable at the back. More goals in this.

Behave. Even Jordan Pickford would have saved that!

De Gea on an off day still the best keeper in the league

Some dreadful refereeing & lino decisions in this game.

    Big chance again for Lukaku.

    Didn’t touch him ffs.

    Nothing from Neville of course.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,109 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

Unless he was planning on booking Rashford why did he stop the counter attack?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

Arsenal getting nothing from the officials here.

Silly statement on an off day he costs his team a goal. He might not have the chance to redeem himself.

Someone like Aguero can have an off day and still score the winner and you would take him over most other strikers even on an off day. However any keeper having am off day is pretty much worse than any keeper just having a normal day (pickford apart obviously)

Tremendously fortunate to be leading, tbh. We need someone to sit in front of Lukaku and win the ball when it's played into him 'cos he's killing us. Get Douzi on for Ozil or Auba.

    Leno having a great game.

Xhaka Ramsey Ozil midfield gives the defence no cover at all.

    Shocking performance by Moss, this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

Moss needs to lay off the pies. He's carrying a fair bit of timber.

Pen to Arsenal for Fred's foul on Lacazette. Not a lot in that.

    Aubameyang scores for 2-0.

Stupid by Fred. Utd dominated this half so far

Nice dive. Moss is too fat to be a top level ref

    Neville thinks it's soft.

    Hardly a shock that

Deserved 2 nil lead to Arsenal

    It's a shock because it wasn't soft, it wasn't even a penalty

Naive from Fred. Even the visual of his arm on his back is very silly to give the ref a decision.

Push in the back. No VAR in the EPL to gift ye goals just yet ;)

Def pen, shoulder into the back, knocked him over.
Neville should never be allowed commentate on a Utd game with his blinkers.
