Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gutted for Scotland and yet it was the most incredible comeback I've ever seen

As an apology for how abject Ireland were today and not giving the English at least the chance to win the tournament, with 20 minutes played, I promised an England mate of mine a bottle of whiskey if England could stick 60 points on Scotland.

I thought I was out a bottle at half time.

    ****ing hell, England.

This is the highest scoring draw in international rugby according to ITV's Mark Pougatch. What a game to deserve it.

Sam Johnson is a player, loved seeing him back himself when faced with two defenders. Ben Toolis and Darcy Graham were great too, amazing what happens when form players are picked.

Just a pity they didn’t hold out for the win.

Yes, but the big thing for Scotland this year was to get an away win outside of Rome. They didn't and are now sitting on two away wins from 40 away games in Paris, Cardiff, London and Dublin in 20 years of the 6 nations, with the last away win being nine years ago.

The value of those world league TV rights may just have gone up a notch!

Very disingenuous analysis from the TV 3 panel. Saying that if we'd beaten Wales then the England result would have seen us with the tournament. There's no way England would have played like that in the second half of the championship was still on the line.

Also pretty much untrue. We'd have lost out on points difference unless we bonus pointed Wales, which was never going to happen.

all in all a superb 6 Nations.
some weird games, some awful performances, but nevertheless thoroughly enjoyable excitement & drama down to last kick.

Finn Russell is everything that is great about rugby, Class!

Before today I was going to post that the six Nations had three good teams and three poor teams.

But after those games its like there's one good team, two ok teams, two schizophrenic mad looper teams and one piss poor team.

The only saving grace for Ireland is that I think we have Scotland's number in that the way we play (structured and possession based) is perfect to play against their loose high tempo harem scarem game plan.

Bradbury’s try was the first by a Scottish 8 in 9 years!
Jonnie Beattie was the last in Croke Park.

I'm not sure that there is a sweeter passer of the ball than Finn Russell?

Yeh I love how he passes, he really is a joy to watch and and as someone said a couple posts back, he's what's great about rugby.

Happens a bit in competitions and Scotland beat England last year so are the holders. When a Triple Crown isn't won, the holders keep it for the season.

But this year as it's a Grand Slam win by Wales they get both trophies

It was pure comedy at times. Hardly the 'best' ever, best fun maybe.

England - France 2015, I think for me best fun, in the last few years anyway. Far more bat**** crazy.
