    Dear RS team,
I was wondering if this telly is avail for purchase in ROI ? And what would be the best price in EUR and £ ?

Also, there doesn't seem to be many reviews about this telly, and I saw somewhere that it has a DirectLED backlight, is this something that you can confirm ? Also, picture quality wise, is there any other 65'' LCD in similar price range that you can recommend ? Thanks !

    Hi Zhac,

thanks for the post and apologies for the delay getting back to you - here is a link to the specs for the Toshiba 65U6863:
    https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/074913cb

The 65U6865 is an in-store collection only model but I have opened it for you if you would like to order ( the site should update in the next 30 minutes).

It's currently £649 with delivery at £6.99 or Euro 699 including delivery but the Euro price is scheduled to increase V V soon!

At that price level there really are no other comparable 65" - if if you stretch to the LG 65UK6400 that is quite a good TV ( again respecting that it is a sub £700 65£ 4K Ultra HD TV)

Thanks again and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    ATVB,

    Thanks John !

QQ, have you got a chance to compare those two TVs ? Which one would be better in PQ (for movies and games) ? (I have Amazon Fire TV so smart tv features are not that important to me). Thanks !

    Hi zhac,

I have seen them both in action but TBH I have not compared them side-by-side, but the LG would be my preference personally by quite a bit in terms of PQ but also ( and I note that its not a big feature for you) but the smart features are so much smoother on the LG OS!

    Keep us posted,

Thanks John for clarification. I'll think about it and see if I will stretch a little bit to Samsung or LG.

Thanks Zhac - I'm not saying that the Tosh is bad, if you are on a budget its great to get a 55" for those spends, but at that mid level every extra €50/€100 you spend really can make a significant difference - far more than an additional €100 at the top end where the law of diminishing returns really does kick in!

Thanks again and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,
