Why 1 week later am I waiting on a call back from support

    When I dial out from my work phone (landline) the number appears as UNKNOWN
    So I contact work support and they checked and said it was an issue with EIR (doesn't happen with other providers)

    So I rang EIR and wasn't prepared to wait 20mins
    So I went to the website and did the support chat.
    Tech support first, they hadn't a clue what to do and put me through to fixed service team who also hadn't a clue what to do.
    So I rang again and got through to EIR Tech, spent 30 mins on the call had to install EIR Talk though the support was mistakenly talking about My EIR
    Still didn't resolve the issue
    This was Fri
    Was told Id get a follow up call on the Monday
    No call, on Wed I called and was told I'd get a call on Wed
    Still no call.
    It's now a week later and I'm none the wiser
    Roll on June when I'm out of contract, terrible support

    Sorry to hear you did not receive a call back as promised. I will certainly look into this. 

    Could you PM the following details?
    1. Registered Name
    2. Registered Address
    3. Account Number
    4. DOB
    5. Are you the Account Holder?

    As soon as I get this information I will be happy to assist.

    Hi Grainne, i called Eir today to cancel our account and waited over 50mins on the phone to get through. They had said to me that we were still under contract until July 31st which is a 18 month contract. I'm wondering how this is possible as i haven't requested anything new from Eir in years or changed our existing account in any way. I would be grateful for any advice you can give on this.
