This is nonsense. They basically voted no to everything.

So many abstentions. What a joke of a parliament this is.

Have I misunderstood this - they voted no to every option they came up with?

Is there any option they didn't vote on?

    closest so far?

Ken Clarke's Customs Union vote was the closest

Holy Christ, what fresh madness is this.

What the F do they actually want now? Was that NO all the way to every proposal?

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,608 ✭✭✭✭Beechwoodspark

Rich Tea during the recess is as optimistic as I'd get.

So they don't want to leave without a deal but they've absolutely no proposals whatsoever for what they do want.

    It's pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

This is Father Ted level rabbling ****kin hell

    In a few words.

It's May's deal vs No Deal still.

Welcome to the United Memedom: Keep Calm and Deny Everything!

I guarantee you though that if the vote to revoke A50 is taken the day before a crash out it will definately pass. All it needs is the proverbial gun put to their heads.

They are caricatures of themselves now I think.

Cannot make a decision on anything.

Only revoke left as an option.

Well that was the biggest waste of time ever... time to go to the EU and say 'we still say no to no deal' - extend

So, why can't a sufficient number of MPs in that joke party, Labour, not support May and get this passed?

Any chance of a new British political party alignment emerging along pro- and anti-EU lines?

It's karma on a crazy scale that the English and their "freedom" is now held hostage by the low-brow, bible-thumping 18th-century bumpkins in the DUP. The 'Orange Card' is playing English nationalists.

I think I said I’d given up previous to tonight’s mess, but I’m really losing the will to live. The DUP need a metaphorical kick up the hole.

    So....now what?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,648 ✭✭✭gooch2k9

Not doing STV allowed them to sit on the fence and by God they seized that chance.

There's no point in repeating this on Monday if MPs aren't forced to make a choice.
