The crest is on the podium so she isn't resigning (even if everyone else is)

you do know Mays deal (the one negotiated with the 27 member states) is the only viable option. ..sigh...she will maybe add customs union to her deal...and change exit date to May..
i dont see the benifit of keeping cabnet in No 10 before she gives speach in 5min or so (so what if they talk)-

So then, extension for A50. Corbyn invited to find a solution, will he show some statesmanship and take up the offer?

    Everyone except her must compromise.

An extension to May 22? But didn't the EU say they needed to agree before 12th to avoid the EU elections?

But, yes No deal seems off the table

I just caught the very end of her speech. National unity for the national good. I'll have to go back and watch the rest of the speech(don't know how long it was) but given the previous speeches it was probably more of the same.

She said a whole lot of nothing , EU won't offer an extension without something more concrete than that...

  • Registered Users Posts: 68,784 ✭✭✭✭L1011

Zero reason for the EU to accept this reason for extension

The EU is Hotel California. You can check out but never leave. I hope there are massive protests planned. Out means out.

I think there was a bit to her TM speech tbh

It seems she's finally decided to ignore the Brexiters and going for a soft brexit and now shes going to compromise with JC

Beth Rigby is class here. Calmly discussing the statement then starts roaring at ministers!

  • Registered Users Posts: 971 ✭✭✭bob mcbob

Well it's only taken 2 years but finally she is compromising

Softer Brexit is on the cards now and possibly the Tory party splitting (even more)
