Knocking an interior wall

    Looking for a guide price of taken down the kitchen/diner wall about 3.5m long and will need an rsj. Any ideas be appreciated.

    Box off RSJ? Presuming timber joists 1stfloor

    Engineer input required if load bearing

    Final finish required or diy completion?

    Yeah I'd we go with a boxed off rsj again price depended with final finish

    1k of that will go to the structural engineer who needs to sign off on the steel work as it is done, before it gets boxed in.
    OP not clear but most likely will need UC supports at each end off the RSJ so thats more work.
