Mick Kearney on for Leavy. Fardy to the backrow.

Must be a knee or hammer or something. Probably the World Cup gone too.

    Sad to see

Darren Cave had a good game all considering.

    Jesus injuries building up.

Hope Leavy and Best are ok for Japan.

When the All Blacks have a long break in play like this they do pods of 3 passing drills to keep them going, why all teams can't do this I don't understand

This is awful for Leavy, might not make it back for the World Cup if its a bad knee injury

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,415 ✭✭✭chupacabra

Very sad for Leavy. Sounds like a very long spell on the sidelines.

I’d say that’s leavy gone from the World Cup, terrible for him

Devastated for Leavy. An incredible player that Ireland and Leinster need.

    Doubtful for Leavy, unfortunately..

Looked a forward pass in the lead up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,851 ✭✭✭Utah_Saint

Forward pass from Ulster a few phases back but leinster had a forward pass a few phases before their try

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,442 ✭✭✭its_phil

Luke Marshall making a comeback like a WWF wrestler returning at the main event of Wrestlemania.

    What a dreadful kick

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,738 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

    Big miss from Cooney there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,239 ✭✭✭Pussyhands

Larmour is so average in defence

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,818 ✭✭✭Inspector Coptoor

Ulster deserve a bit of luck there.
Leinster got away with one too.

    Poor strike from John Cooney.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,386 ✭✭✭✭DDC1990

Awful from Cooney. More Points thrown away. (Easy to say from my armchair of course). Looked like a forward pass in the buildup to the try but hard to tell.

    It's a classic though.

    Byrne kicks better when injured

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,111 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Ringrose having an absolute stinker with the boot

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,741 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Is that Larmour to centre and Reid to 10?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,111 ✭✭✭leakyboots

    Woeful feed from McGrath

Credit to Ross Byrne there for that kick and wanting to continue

There isn't any rugby players left....dropping like flies here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Reidy is so lightweight for Ulster. Carries go nowhere like a junior player up with the big boys.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

World rugby teams watching this for September delighted with The Irish lads knocking 7 shades of shîte out of each other.

Presumably joe is watching catchphrase or taking the dog for a walk.

    No surrender from Ulster

Stockdale will have nightmares about this for a very long time.

How often do you seen leinster crawling to the end like that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,239 ✭✭✭Pussyhands

Harsh lesson for stockdale. Feel bad for the lad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,741 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Maybe not showing it on TV, but Stockdale's on his haunches on the 10 metre line with head in hands.

Job done fair play to Ulster

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,442 ✭✭✭its_phil

Great game and hard luck to Ulster.

Stockdale is a great player and will be one of the Irish greats but looking at him after the game, he’ll be beating himself more than any other supporter could.

Unbelievable game. Above international standard. Great win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,741 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

The last few minutes was reminiscent of one of Munster's Heineken Cup victories. Regain the lead and play turtle ball to stop the opposition winning the ball back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,111 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Leinster playing the sort of puke rugby at the end that people gave out about Munster doing in the '08 final, it didn't befit the occasion I thought ;)

Absolute humdinger of a game I thought

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,442 ✭✭✭its_phil

Fair play to Ross Byrne. That took stones

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,415 ✭✭✭chupacabra

Nights like tonight make Irish rugby better as a whole. Fair play to both sides. Gutted for Leavy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,851 ✭✭✭Utah_Saint

Stockdale did not lose that for us. Don't think It would've changed result. Leinster would have responded

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,062 ✭✭✭Cosmo Kramer

Great game - just hoping there's a "not as bad as first feared" injury update on Leavy in the next few days.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,738 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

    Fair fúcks to Ulster.

Everyone wrote them off going into this, expecting a drubbing. Absolutely ferocious defence, some good moments in attack, and serious commitment from players like Cave, McCloskey and Treadwell. Gutted for Best and Leavy.

Serious reality check for Leinster, we're not at the levels we were last season and aren't in great form.
