Waiving life insurance for one party to the mortgage

    We are looking for switch mortgages

    Have never been in arrears etc with mortgage but for personal reasons I won’t get life insurance for my mortgage

    However my current bank waived this requirement as my husband has life insurance

    Is this something Bank of Ireland would consider if we were switching to them
