balancing the ball on the hurley? everybody does it and not against the rules afaik

I thought i saw him hop the ball on the hurley on the rise. Is that what you think the foul is?

Limerick might win this but it's small consolation I think as Tipp aren't firing at all in the forwards. Some terrible wides. I don't think they'll be as bad again.

6 point lead should be enough for limerick now, 15 left.

Paudi Maher got blocked down very easily just before limerick's second goal

Great closing down all through the game by limerick.

Tipp definitely aren't as determined to win this as Limerick. They've been off the pace most of the game and they've given up completely now.
Bubbles barely touched the ball. Apart from Callinanan they've been anonymous up front.

Always something lovely about watching Tipp getting schooled, a guilty pleasure

Yeah he's balancing the ball on the hurley, has to be a clean lift and strike. Something to look out for the semi final.

Limericks day and I hope they enjoy it.

Tip will be a lot better come the knock out games I feel.

    AI premlinarry round
    Laois vs Dublin
    Westmeath vs Cork

    AI QFs (likely atm)
    Tipp vs Laois/Dublin
    Kilkenny/Wexford vs Westmeath/Cork

I wouldn't write them off yet. Still think they're the best team left in it. I think this pair up will be in the final and I'd pick Tipp to win that if it happens.

That’s an awful attempt at a challenge. Should be a red.

Shadow boxing 2 weeks from Limerick, possible shadow boxing this time from Sheedy? All to be revealed in croke Park.

Is the ref blind, did he even book him?

Did anyone else see the limerick player just bounce the ball from his hand off the ground into his hand again there? Cannot believe that wasn't sen by the ref as well as that tackle earlier!

That was cian Lynch. Technically, shouldn't that have been a foul as he threw the ball against the ground.

So it's clear that Limerick threw the round robin game against Tipp, that resulted in Clare being knocked out of the championship, can't say I'm going to support Limerick any time soon.

16 point turn around in 2 weeks when they didn't play their full team, if that doesn't equal throwing a game I don't know what does.

While I agree to a point but Limerick without 4 players only loose by 4 Tipp with 2 out loose by 12

Limerick were not pushed that day. They rested 6 key players and took off a few key ones, they didn't give a toss, their touch and play was sloppy.

Is that correct? RTE saying the same.

I thought 3rd in Leinster played JMcD runner-up and 3rd in Munster played JMcD winner?

They didn't throw it but weren't pushed either in winning it. It was nip and tuck but limerick never pushed themselves

True, the entire Munster Championship this year was one big conspiracy about making sure Clare were knocked out of the championship. All the other teams were involved too, but it goes beyond that, why is no one looking at internal affairs.....

To say they throw a game is ridiculous and just so a team would be thrown out is also insane and this is from a Clare man. With the way Clare had been playing Cork could have won and then Limerick be in the qualifiers. Yes Limerick rested player but to say they throw the came is just wrong

During the week John Kiely told RTE that he had rotated his squad for the Tipp game, explaining that he couldn't expect his players to play 3 high intensity games in 14 days.

He added that he had probably rotated the team too much!

They did what was best for themselves. I know you're biased but in the big picture Clare wouldn't be enough of a threat for them to worry about.

Oh I agree they never pushed themselves but why should they when they knew they be in the final. They only lost by 4 and I say if they needed to win with Cork beating Clare they could have done it
