I sent them a DM on Twitter about the lack of invite code, while being nice about it too :)
    Hopefully, someone helps me out!

Just got my email. Should arrive tomorrow or Friday and it's coming from Dublin. So that's promising.

6th June order here too. Money Auth. Not dispatched and no emails.

Of those who did receive what were your order dates?

Ordered on 7th June, haven't received anything yet but got the dispatch email this evening. Still waiting on the activation code email.

Got my dispatch email, should be arriving in the next day or 2. Still no code.

Had a look at the pricing on US store. $60 for red dead. It's €20 on PS4 in Tesco, and Sony won't down grade it to 1080p if you stop paying for PS+.

I'd better sit tight them, I didn't order until Aug 21st.
That was 10 weeks after you!
It took them 2 days to get through the first days pre-orders!
At this rate, I just have to wait 20 more weeks :D

I got my shipping email and my code email within 10 minutes of each other this evening. I then played Red Dead for an hour on my laptop. It works well. No noticable lag, and one small stutter on a transition between a cut scene and the game. The stutter seemed game related. Overall I am impressed with my first hour.

Looking forward to receiving my Stadia controller and chromecast so I can try it on the TV.

I got my shipping email at 10 and the code at half past. It's coming from England so probably be Friday or Saturday before I see it.

I tried my first game in Destiny on Stadia and it was a mixed experience.

The game is a ghost town at the moment, couldn't match to anyone in Crucible. There was some people in the Tower though. Graphically it looked fine to me, nice steady 60fps. The responsiveness was good too.

The odd thing was the sound. The sound effects were delayed. Probably only by a half second but it is noticeable.

    Watched the video.

The guy comes across as a whiney moan.

Some of his points were just plain stupid.

Poor review frankly because it wasn't even a review.

so my order was delayed should of been here today. I got my invite code so at least I got my username. so I now have no idea when I will get the controller.

According to their replies on Twitter, they gone through June's pre-orders and have moved onto July's ones for the codes!

Maybe so but pretty much all reviews are saying the same thing.

Christ it's a **** show. Emailing out a code is a pretty basic tool.

How many founders editions were there?

Not a great start to Stadia. Logged in, went to play Destiny 2, I get the game logo screen for a few seconds and then it's quickly followed by a black screen that it never gets past. Menus still work so it hasn't crashed, it's just not doing anything. Same thing happens for Samurai Showdown.

Honestly, I'd say cdkeys probably send out more codes in an hour than there was pre-orders :pac:

It has to be intentional. They already know everything about the people that ordered a Stadia. Literally all they had to do was enabled Stadia access at purchase time for the Google accounts that placed the order.

The only thing that makes sense is that this whole access code thing is being done in batches intentionally to prevent a flood of logins.

Thought that exactly after watching it, just slated it without even getting a game, I don't expect a PC build lad to have any love for it to be fair...

He should take the label off the video . It was not a review it was just him standing there moaning about all sorts of stuff he picked up off Reddit.

Because he could not get the flipping system to even work out of the box because Google ****ed up how to activate it using only google software. That's a review on what an epic failure it is that a PC specialist with detailed knowledge can't even get the system to accept login with a whole office worth of phones using android.

He reviewed the process so far. No code so couldn't properly test the service.

Also I didn't know you needed a Pixel phone to access the app. Was that just some mad bug in the US or did you need one for here as well?

And yet only 1 guy with a Pixel 2 in said office, it only works on Pixels at the moment until the new year AFAIK...

I've seen a fair few of his video's randomly coming up in my feed but never a big fan of his output if I'm honest...

Will wait for the DF review to see how the Eurogamer lads get on with it...

Still not buying into it yet as I've already enough platforms and backlogs

That Yongyea lad is a drama queen for the clicks no matter what the context of his video is, he always has been...

Everything is exclamation marks and FAILs in giant caps on his video's to drive them clicks, 90% of YouTube "reviewer's" are all same

As I said, I'm not sold on the tech yet regardless, but if it dramatically improves in the next few months I might give it a go....

I won't be playing Half Life : Alyx on it though... ;)

Youtube's graphic layout and alogrithm is largely responsible for how people label, tag and brand their content. All caps or huge text is standard because the huge majority of users are on mobiles with tiny screens. Don't hate the player hate the game, because they certainly do.

Dont have one ordered but would you consume a load of data playing on this?

Will data caps be a problem with stadia?
Dont have fibre only a wisp
