Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pádraig Harrington, and I love Pádraig Harrington, but that voice...

Somebody who is loved here but Michael D Higgins. He always reminds me of a pompous school teacher.

    Michael D Higgins.
Do you mean his voice when in Ireland or when performing for the Queen?

Pj Gallagher off Classic Hits Former FM. That accent would drive me insane if I had to listen to it all day.

My vote would be for Conor McGregor

There was a young woman chatting to Pat Kenny on Friday about climate change and Jaysus did her voice grate.

There's a taxi driver in Athlone with the surname Jinks.

    Him, by far.

Conor Mc Gregor, if his accent is real.

    Graeme Mc Dowell, see above.

Van Morrisson perfected that motherf*cker of an accent

That Maura one on the afternoon show who's along side that Kerry dude with the funny accent.

Brian Kerr, horrible thin tonality and exaggerated Dublinness.

Can't stand Dara O'Briain either, somebody once described his schtick as 'a super sized, slurping, bovine Paddy persona'.

Brian Kerr, always sounds like he’s moaning
Alison Curtis - how she’s allowed on a radio with that painful and nasally voice and accent is beyond me
Most radio /tv presenters or pundits on talk shows who put an American twang onto things like the McDermotts, etc
Agreed with Ryle Nugent and George Hook
    Hector and Des Bishops
    Vague Williams
    Lottie Ryan
Paula McSweeney - loud just too loud
The Healy Rae’s - basically any cultchie accents tend to grate on me

Susan Cahill on Newstalk. During an interview she’s fine but her prepared reading is just awful.

The education correspondent RTE can't think of her name, she enunciates and exaggerates her words too much, and sounds too earnest.

It's like she has some terrible elocution lessons

    Lucy Kennedy.
I'm not sure if it's her voice or her annoying personality though.

Nicky Bryne also, we should have balance and mention both genders.

Deirdre O'Kane has an ad every 10 mins on Newstalk, it registers on one of those frequencies that irritates humans and causes dogs to feel pain.
