    Passport expires in October 2019 however I have quite a lot of foreign trips between now and then. My question is are there any issues travelling on current valid password while the renewal is in progress? I do not want to be checking in at a foreign airport on way home and finding out the password I have on hand is expired as the new one has been issued?

    Any ideas?

    thank you. I will apply as soon as I get back from this next trip and hopefully will have new password before the next one. Their site says you need to plan on upto six weeks which I cannot do.
