    Hi IT wizards

Not sure if this is the right needle in the haystack?

I am wondering if there's a means of ordering files by extension type in a folder by default?I am using Windows 10 operating system.

Every time I open folders they are ordered alphabetically by default.

Hence ad nauseam I have to right click to sort by type.

    You can indeed.

    1. Open folder, adjust the view you desire, by Type in your case.
    2. Go File >> Change folder and search options
    3. In Folder Option window View tab click Apply to Folders
    4. Confirm to apply to all folder (Yes) or to this folder alone (No)

    Done
