Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As above - any suggestions /experiences of this? Engine revs drop after 1-2 seconds at 3000 revs when stationary but drives fine on the road - when the revs have dropped back to ~2200 the build up again but engine won't hold at 3000

    All advice appreciated

    Crankshaft sensor?

Don't know really - faults P0133 & P0134 were showing up but didn't mention crankshaft sensor

The problem with the revs dropping is still there after these faults were cleared

Engine burns plenty oil - would this be a factor?

    Had this before.

TPS, just got a new sensor. I think solved it.

It's called 'hunting' and it must be a common fault.

What did you mean by TPS? What type of sensor can you recall?

Spoke with a neighbour recently who had the exact same problem with a Corolla, it was the throttle body in carb, 3 different types fitted apparently
