Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Following an Audit by An Post it has been closed for the forseeable future . All claimants have to go to Bridge St post office in Limerick City ! This will cause undue hardship to elderly etc having to go in to an area with no parking .

Another score for the banking industry! Can’t have all that money going through a competitor’s hands. They got rid of the building societies. Now they’re helping get rid of the POs. Next, those pesky credit unions, watch this space.

An Post came out last year complaining about losing a fortune and were allowed to put a massive price hike on stamps and close a load of post offices now they are making money again.

But if people aren't using services then those services aren't going to survive so people have to use their local shop/post office/pub if they want to continue to have them, there's no point in complaining about not having a local shop if you never use your local shop.

It was reported that the Gardai have been involved over irregularities. I can't find the article now but it was reported in the Limerick Post.
