Ali is a freak. I would be ashamed to have a manager like him, especially using his fighters twitter accounts.

I seriously can't understand why any of them would have him as a manager when you read the stories about his murky past!

McGregor to win by submission is 100/1 on bet365

    Worth a Euro or 2

I think you have to pick the round too for that price

That's the gate figures nothing to do with the PPV. Still impressive.

PPV figures haven't been released so we've no idea how many it has sold.

For example the likes of sascha Baron Cohen would have participants sign release forms to avoid legal ambiguity, if you suffered mishap on camera it might be ilegal for others to use that footage for commercial gain?

The realese form has permission to use the footage. Nothing to do with libel though.

Not sure how a guy who just smoked Till, Askren and Diaz 3 in a row isn’t a serious operator but hey whatever you think yourself.

Askren is a wrestler with zero striking. It was an impressive ko. Diaz he was winning the fight clearly and there was a long way back for Diaz but......

Till was a very good performance against an excellent striker. You’d have question marks about his chin at the weight though.

Also, when I say he is not a serious operator, I was speaking in reference to him being compared with Usman etc. I don’t think he’s at that level and the poster I was quoting stated he was far superior to Conor. In what area? Where? Size is an equaliser but his striking is not in he same class as Conor’s is/was.

That was a long time ago, he killed himself to make that weight but he did it. Every time. That's the name of the game in the fight business, every edge counts. You fight at the lowest weight you can make that you can still carry your power at. You also change over time, the natural progression is to get bigger as the weight cuts become harder as they go and each takes its toll. You also naturally get a little heavier as you get older. it is incredible to me that the likes of Aldo are able to switch down a division in his 30s when really there was always talk that he would be a natural 55er, that the cut to 45 was tough on him which it was. That kind of dedication is impressive.

I don't like McGregor, I never have and likely never will at this point but I don't see how him making 145 is something to hold against him. He did what it took and strived to get to the top.

Ladd drinking pints in a bar every week naturally get heavier.
Atheltes working out in a gym weekly don't naturally get heavy. More they decide to lift heavier to build more muscle to be heavier....
Sorry just trying to understand ur point on naturally getting heavier?
Naturally the weight cut can get tougher the more you do it and the more you have to cut.

I think khabib would beat Conor at any weight to be honest.

I dont see how that relevant to calling weight cutting a farce?
By your logic Khabib should be in 170 and Conor 155. And never faced each other.

Weight cutting is part of the sport. 170 Conor doesn’t make 145.

He’d be doing well to complete the shot from round 1 range.

    Ridiculously late stoppage that.

I thought it could have been stopped when he dropped first. I think Herb was giving him a chance as it was early.
Avoids the early stoppage complaints at least.
