Packed TOTS Oblak yesterday, but I’m unsure what to do with him. Courtois has been solid for me and as good as any keeper I’ve used, but Oblak obviously has way better stats, and he links into my team perfectly and is only going for 190k. Am I better off selling at that fairly low price and spending the coins elsewhere or is he a significant upgrade on Courtois?

will that money improve your team elsewhere?
Courtois is supposed to be the best keeper in the game so I'd hang onto him.

Also christ there are really some assholes playing fifa. Wasn't really bothered about going for the Gaya objective (assist using la liga defender for rivals win). Guy goes one up and runs around like an ass celebrating.
I bring on Ze Roberto for MVB and he assists to get me a goal. At this stage I'm all over him and he immediately quits the game rather than giving me the win..what a ****in ahole.

Did one La Liga upgrade and one 81+ And got a 83 Morata in one and a 83 Nacho Fernandez in other - both duplicates. Don’t think I’ve had anyone half decent when doing these SBCs across PL, Bundasliga and now La Liga.

Got a 88 CDM in the Turkish TOTs guarantee.

On the plus side followed up my decent finish (4-1 in last 5 games) in the weekend league by going 7-1 in Rivals - needed to play as need the points to get back in this coming weekend as hearing it will be Serie A. 11-2 across WL and Rivals is probably my best run ever - form will probably collapse though by the time next weekend league comes around 😬😳

Anyone tried TOTS Aguero? Kind of tempted to get him over TOTS Havertz. Also have options of Prime Cruyff, Eusebio or moments Henry.

I so regret selling ucl cards for peanuts earlier in the season. It was obvious they would be needed for sbc, but they normally have released an SBC allowing you to get these cards to complete another sbc. Now it is almost impossible to get them. I managed to buy one today, pure luck. Need 3 more rares to finish all.

I think I paid 30k for the last one I needed, bloody EA, I got Reus so just broke even.

I've played about 50 games with him. He's good but I don't think he's as good as Prime Eusebio tbh. He's got about 38 goals and 15 assists in those games (D1 and WL) but the first 15 games or so I did feck all with him. Tbh he's just massively outclassed in my team by Carnibal Neymar. If you can fit him in he's a real game changer.

is it possible traders have a stockpile of them waiting for a bin increase and there will be a load available just before the sbc expires

Is there a market for UCL commons as well? Just looked through my club and have about a dozen each of rares and commons

Yup.. sell for like 6k each (the rares) or at least they did yesterday.

Made about 150k from CL players on Sat eve, had enough to complete it already myself. Wonder will they do a CL/EL TOTS? I think when the SBC is over I might buy a few back enough to build a team

What leagues would it be this weekend. It's been great craic playing with team I wouldn't usually play with for the objectives

Good fun too playing people in an online single match with a 1st goal wins rule, it's all out attack, though their are some who don't cancel and go all out to draw level

Can't see them doing another CL TOTS when they already have ones for group stages and knockout stages, plus the fact it would be in the middle of TOTS.

Decided to churn out the 88 rated squad for Ronaldo this morning. Gave up my Scream Koke, Birthday Pavard and the TOTS keeper I got yesterday.

Out walked...



Thrilled.

Not only does he cover the 300k left I need to finish off Ronaldo, he gives me a solid 500k afterwards too, and I thought I'd be broke after finishing.

Have Ronaldo for the weekend now

My delight at finding a couple dozen UCL rares and commons in my club was tempered when I realised that most of them are untradables. Currently trying to find someone to pay 10k for Mangala but so far no takers.....

urgh coming back to rivals after WL mode is horrific. The sheer scripting that takes place in rivals is extremely obvious when comparing it to WL mode.
They both use dedicated servers but I'm getting the servers used for rivals are under huge load as EA don't really give a **** about midweek modes.

Legit don't know where to go from here now.

I'm going to try the 4-2-4 this weekend, to get that front 4 all playing. I played a 4-3-1-2 last weekend with decent success, so might eventually switch back, which would possibly need a new midfielder.

This is with a bench of Flashback Luiz, Flashback Ibra, POTM Auba, POTM Hazard. Easily the most OP team I've ever made, and still have 500k to spend, and a few months left till the next one....

Luiz is a good shout, cause I've used him as a 7 chem CDM before and he's a proper presence.

I've tried Gullet at CAM and while he's good, I find I way prefer him in that right side CM position. Think it leaves him hanging on the edge of the box a bit more, and that little extra depth means he usually has a bit more space to launch off his passes or rockets.

GK, I'm never sure on. Cech has 4/6 stats at 99 on basic, 90 kicking and 50 speed, so is pretty strong over all. I'm not sure if any upgrade on him is worth the coins it would cost. The United fan in me, as well as the Icon-crafter, has me tempted to go for the Big Dane though.

RB is the best shout though. I alternate between Alves and SBC Valencia, the former being great offensively, and the latter being a brick wall in defence.

But TOTS Da Costa is "only" 320k and I loved his Futswap card earlier in the year. Kimmich looks interesting too. Those two might be worth investingating

Also, that Ramos SBC looks stupidly cheap? 386k for a 95 rated Ramos? What am I missing there?

I've kinda gone off Costa....might need to speed catalyst or something on him as he seems a bit slow even though he's 89 acceleration, 99 speed but something felt off with him the weekend.

His reactions are what is the problem. He could have 99 everything and he'd still be awful due to his really low reactions. I love coming up against him in game because he's terrible.

A better VVD and Alisson would be the easiest upgrades. Team is insane though.

Even Lloris's base card is miles better. Actually better than DDG for me.
