Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Notice people are quickly changing their tune on whether LeClerc was 'ready'.

I remember quite a few people here saying he would outperform Vettel this season.

Yep, he's changing their minds with this performance so far. He's more than ready, been saying it forever he is the real deal

    Painful listening to David Croft

I'm not a fan myself, but I haven't really noticed him today. The race has been too good!

Hamilton has to pit again, Ferraris not

A few people did, but there was a sizeable number saying the complete opposite.

Everyone has to put again. Not a chance the mediums go to the end with everyone pitting so early.

Only one that has a chance of a 1-stopper is Ricciardo.

Giovinacci should have got a penalty for that. Kvyat is looking good for getting his seat back.

Haas telling KMAG to make a 1 stop work is a strange choice, surely he stopped too early for that?

Red tyres ain't working for the Mercs

Hamilton is a sitting duck according to himself. Leclerc got a very poor start but has done well since getting the lead back. After what happened in Australia where Ferrari pulled rank on leclerc if leclerc wins this race what do they do ?

A pity about the DRS zone in turns 3 and 4. If they were not there we might have got a bit of racing between Hamilton and Vettel like we did in 2014 with Hamilton and Rosberg. The DRS made it to easy for Vettel to pass Hamilton.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Nice pass from Norris, he's having a good race so far

Is the fundamental issue with Williams is the car is crap ?

Leclerc has to continue to not give them a choice

How many veins just exploded in Verstappen's head as he was unlapped by a Racing Point again

It's a shame considering what Williams used to be.

25 seconds between the top 4 and 5th a further 30 seconds behind that.

    Needs to be closer

Renault's strategy for Ricciardo today has gone completely wrong

That was a bit closer than Ferrari would have hoped.

Vettel #2 Ferrari driver for the season? He'll throw all his toys out of the pram.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,292 ✭✭✭Adamocovic

Wonder what the reason was for that spin by Vettel.

As much as I love Leclerc its early days yet!

Sometimes I wonder how Vettel has 4 WDC. I would think Ferrari will have awkward choices to make this year.

Only 15 laps left, the race has flown by. Been really good so far

Lotta pressure for the kid but he has nothing to lose has he? He's already shown his quality & showed up Vettel, everything else is jam...

Even if he crumbles he's still an inexperienced rookie with big potential

Maybe he got caught out by the wind, Hamilton had him under real pressure

But he was never unlapped by a Racing Point before only a Force India that crashed into him.

    Some great racing do.

Vettel flying back up the order after his mistake or his tyres going.

Please god no, not an engine problem for Leclerc

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

45 seconds now between the top 4

Outside the top few cars it's been a decent race

Plenty of action down the grid
