    What's going on?!

    Laughter? Merriment? People enjoying themselves?

The LLS Producers are frantically waving a card saying 'MISERY' on it.

Yeah, I was just wishing this would end, then I realised that's not what I want.

They might as well do a LLS Special, broadcast live from Glasnevin Cemetery, with the way they've become fixated with terminal illness, death & misery.

Too many republican graves there. RTE get nervous when the topic of how Ireland became independent shows up

I feel that segment had potential.

No reflection on the girl who won(?), but I think it could have been improved by removing the gunge, and introducing water and perhaps sharks or piranhas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,362 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

I remember the whole gunge thing on nickelodeon growing up in the 90s, good times

First good fire there since 1666.

Death and disease, we really need a licence increase, this is what we need on a Friday night, nothing more relaxing than hearing other people have worse lives than me...is that the aim of all this RTE misery?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,676 ✭✭✭thunderdog

I think the team behind the late late show have a full understanding that the Irish have a bit of a penchant for lots of misery stories

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,362 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

3 on together? Rte ramping up the misery

    What colour was the coffin?

On a side note when a loved one does die it's kind of really funny when you look back thinking of when the undertaker brings you in to a sort of coffin showroom where he tells you the spec and comfort, it was hard to keep a straight face when he said the top end fancy carving model was €30k...yes ok I will take 2.
