iTunes - not downloading new podcasts

folks - looking for help - my podcasts aren't updating, system is telling me the network timed out -there's no network issue though, I've uninstalled and re-installed iTunes, but no luck - amended to not having podcasts download simultaneously, same - no joy..........any tips would be greatly appreciated
