I Am Superman obviously a decent horse but I cannot have that O'Callaghan is anything other than a very overrated trainer myself

Is he particularly 'very overrated' though? I don't think I've heard anyone bigging him up.

His stats are fairly reasonable, he's at it 5 years or so and his results would be envy of many a trainer at it 50 years.
The Qatari's have left plenty of trainers in harsh circumstances so I wouldn't read into that too much. Now or Later finishing a close up 4th in the Coronation looks an extremely impressive feat given how that horse has done in Australia(i.e. nothing).
The fact he's fairly young in comparison to most of his peers(by the look of him) I'd say his future looks fairly promising.

They should send him over to Ascot for the Brittania, he could well turn into a group horse.

I am quite honestly shocked to see the amount of bad-will towards Michael O'Callaghan on this thread. He must have pissed in someone's supper.

Why would anyone not want him to do well ?

He's probably not particularly overrated anymore as he has been found out for a very average trainer in last season or two. His stats are not at all good when you look at the average price of his runners and the quality of horses he has had through the yard. I have no ill will towards him, these are just the facts as I see them.
