How to fully turn off a UE Boom 2

I've a UE Boom 2 and I noticed recently that pressing the power button doesn't actually turn it off as you can connect to it again via the App and turn it on, so it's still using some power to be able to communicate when turned off! Is there anyway to actually turn it off as if I was going away, or just don't need to use…

I've a UE Boom 2 and I noticed recently that pressing the power button doesn't actually turn it off as you can connect to it again via the App and turn it on, so it's still using some power to be able to communicate when turned off!

Is there anyway to actually turn it off as if I was going away, or just don't need to use it for a while, I don't want it drained when I do need to use it. I've tried Google but no luck.
