Any excuse from the organisers to make sure Woods is in the final group. I hope anybody but Tiger wins.

They’ve got some special powers, organising bad weather. Impressive.

    Keopka moving up.

Hope Frankie does a Tiger ,circa 99/00 and has the field destroyed by the 9th so I can relax and enjoy the winnings,I doubt it though,it'll go to the wire

What tiger is doing after his injuries is nothing short of a miracle, no other golfer has played with a fused back, and he's now contended the last 3 majors, he's simply the best

You're being generous. He was the best, 10 years ago. No stats whatsoever to support your ascertion.

Can’t think of another golfer who has had multiple major back/neck/knee surgeries still played at the top level. Come to think of it I can’t think of any sports person who has done that.

He will never be what he was, but you got to admire the way he keeps coming back.

Crazy that the BBC have lost so much Golf, even worse with Horse Racing, having to listen and watch that horrific ITV coverage.

Have to say Tigers pace of play is a disgrace.

Don't know if this is new.

Or he is Tiger so can do what he wants.

    Don't think he's generally slow.

Dark arts to throw Molinari (who likes to get on with things)?

It looks like he is at something.

But they only give time warnings to nobodies

It's hard to turn it around when you go defensive. Frankie will have to hope the others continue to stall!

is the bbc coverage delayed or something?

Not delayed but often in a different order to the Sky/US coverage.

With so many players on the course the broadcast teams have to decide what to show when and often the coverage can be very different.

    Lucky escape for Frankie there.

    Conspiracy theories big time.
I'm not seeing anything from tiger regarding slow play at all.

scoring is quite poor today...i don't think bogey avoidance will do it though... birdies will be required to offset the almost guaranteed bogeys.

On the hole he bogey'd he was inordinately slow over both the chip and the putt, Jason Day slow. The BBC commentators remarked on it.

The group went off at 2:20 and were on the 4th tee at 3:15, Finau & Molinari are both quick players.

I do think he's playing noticeably slower than he usually does but the 4 hole sample size isn't big enough and as you said, trying to second guess why he's being slow is conspiracy theory territory as only he really knows.

    You serious.

Some of the slowest golf I ever seen.

Did Koepka, Finau and Woods all bogey within a few seconds there?
