    It's the 2nd coming !!!
Imagine how Nicklaus is feeling watching this at home .
His 18 major victories record is now back under serious threat by woods .

I never expected to hear the grand national mentioned during the final round of the masters but there you go.

Did Woods die and be brought back to life the way the people are talking about him.

    Greatest come back ever.

We do lose the run of ourselves in sport.

    Hero’s and legends.

These should be kept for doctors and people who save people and not sports people

Come off it. He gets 2 bad breaks and gets punished. Tiger hit the ball over the shop and got lucky breaks.

12 was unforgivable. He’s 2 ahead, no need to be going anywhere near that flag. If you don’t make the carry on the bunker line you make 4 at worst. Stupid shot. 15 he hits a terrible tee shot, terrible layup and terrible 3rd shot. And terrible 5th shot which he got away with. He’s hit 6 or 7 greens today and is usually laser straight with the driver and irons, pressure got to him in a big way.

I totally agree with the point about Tiger, he’s been incredibly lucky all weekend when he’s hit loose shots.

He has a 2 shot lead, just par his way in and he's back as a major champion. This is incredible!

I know this is obviously a once off time wise for us but it's nice to be able to watch the masters at a reasonable time.

It's the Tiger of old. He intimidated his opposition and stepped up when he needed to.

Great hole for woods. Surprised he didn't tip that one in with the inside club, his trusty 9 iron .

Never was a fan of Tiger...but this is a bit special alright.

He bottled that birdie putt right after tiger had given him the line...faffed it short and right.

Magical stuff, was never his greatest fan either but once someone becomes the underdog you sort of switch your loyalties round.
Three a few quid on him last night at 7/2 just for a bit of interest but find myself cheering him on regardless

12 I’ll agree but 15 was one poor drive that started it all. That’s hardly bottling it?

Anyway it’s the Tiger show today!

    Still a bit to go.

    Don't think so.

    It's not that hard a finish ?

It’s been a succession of poor drives all day tbf. His putting kept him in it for a long time (which was fairly impressive) but he has never going to hang in with his long game today. When have you ever seen him hit a snap hook like he did off 7?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,083 ✭✭✭Farawayhome

Remember when he could barely walk and he was hacking around the golf course?

Should be straight forward but even with his experience it could be a different type of pressure on him.
    He looks cool though

This is surreal. The scenes if he holds on. It will go down as one of the greatest moments in the history of sport. I cannot believe he's actually got himself back in this situation.
