One decent tee-shot away from another green jacket!

    Unbelievable!

If he does see this out, I don’t think it’ll be the last major Tiger wins. Might not even be the last one he wins this year, if he maintains this form.

I think it will be his last

    Greatest come back ever.

    Hero’s and legends.

    Go way ya clown .

To come back from the brink and on the thought of quitting golf with back injuries and form to now.

This will be his 1st major since 2008 and masters since 2005

Crazy and shows how damn good he has been in the history of any sport never mind golf

Even a bad tee shot on 18 is not the end of the world

    Honestly.

I think just everything aligned and he is still on an edge health wise

    Imo

And everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think his game is in a great position right now. Another big chance at the Open. If he stays healthy... Jack's record can be got.

He really needs to at least tie Nicklaus's record to remove ambiguity.

And the thing is I think he can still.

This was his first comeback in 2015 in Torrey shanking the ball on the range.

I thoguht this was it for him

This is easily the best and most comical greatest pile of miserable sh*te I’ve read on this site, and that is saying something, hats off to you :)

I couldn't handle Brooks beating him.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,017 ✭✭✭SharpshooterTom

You have to say this is been on the cards for a while now.

T6 at the Open (he was leading in the final round at one point), 2nd at the USPGA, winning a PGA event after that.

No one could really say they were surprised at this if we're being honest.

Cmon Koepka, birdie that and make it interesting!:D

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,601 ✭✭✭thecomedian

Looking like a tight finish, hopefully he holds on

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,017 ✭✭✭SharpshooterTom

What chances do people give for him to pass Nicklaus given that sports stars are living longer?

  • Registered Users Posts: 922 ✭✭✭trishasaffron

It was only 18 months ago he was arrested for being under the influence.......what a comeback! Hero, inspirational.

Tiger to wait for Brooks putt to miss and pull out the 4 iron

  • Registered Users Posts: 27,161 ✭✭✭✭GreeBo

What time did they tee off at?

Surely well over 5 hours now.

    Free Palestine 🇵🇸

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,601 ✭✭✭thecomedian

    All Tigers now

This is great. A bad shot here or a bogey there had not fazed him even a little.

I hoped this would happen but felt others, like Koepka, would win it if Molinari slipped thanks to their par 5 ability. Woods shots into greens though have been great.

Tiger won a US Open at the same course the PGA is on so the hype for that tournament will be massive after this!

Tiger barely holding his emotions in check. I'd say there'll be some waterworks when he wins.

I ain’t a Tiger fan but hats off to him. Got some good breaks but after nearly giving up the game to winning another major is seriously impressive.
