Oh my! Oh my, Oh my, Oh my. What scenes. Unbelievable.

To think he lost a decade of his prime to injury and self-imposed troubles, he'd be well clear of Jacks record by now.

A number of years ago yes I would agree but I think he has changed to a degree. Is he still a bit up himself perhaps but maybe thats what you need to be the best

It's not even right to compare Jack to him. Tiger is on a different level to Jack...
    Hes the greatest sportsman ever...

Go wan the Tiger, go wan.

You cannot beat a good come back story

If watching that didn’t make you want to get the clubs out, I’m not sure what will,

Gotta feel for molinari, fair play to woods, serious set of balls

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,301 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

I presume that counts as a PGA tour win?
Puts him on 81, one behind Slammin' Sammy.

I would not go that far. There were different times. Jack was a legend of his time and one of the greatest as is Tiger a legend of his time

What makes the win even better is that he came from behind to do it. He wasn’t leading by 4 strokes and playing safe golf, he was 2 behind and surrounded by formidable challengers, went out and shot a fantastic round to clinch it.

The way he won it under such pressure, you know the real Tiger is back. Maybe only for a little while, but still.

good win but nobody put it to him either.

given the leaderboard at the outset of the day the expectation for the final round was not met.

2nd post in the thread. What a historic win. This will resonate for quite sometime throughout the world.

Did you watch the right tournament? Everyone and their dog were charging towards the top of the board for the entire back 9.

The pressure got to finau and molanari to a lesser degree where as tiger maintained his composure.
koepka and DJ put it to him; posted 12 under? Who's to say he wouldn't have parred the last if he needed?
Never witnessed anything like it before. Incredible

Confirmed, it's his first time to win a major when not leading going into the final round.
