Hopefully Rory knocks that eagle putt in and kicks start his tournament.

    What hole was he on?

Edit: It's OK, found it. Hilarious the way he looks back at the caddy as if the caddy did it. :D

Still wouldn't surprise me if Woods and Mcilroy are the final two.

    Its what the world wants.

Just from reading twitter comments, recent rule change.

Old rule was the same for tee shots IIRC, ball not in play until you tee off. The change is for subsequent shots, used to be 1 stroke penalty and replace ball...but I could be wrong!

Only change is on the putting green (most clubs had this as a local rule for over a year now anyway) where you are not penalised for accidentally causing your ball to move.

Tiger rolling in some long putts, including a pearler on treacherous 11th. Primed for a charge.

That's the one so. Know someone who was penalised for hitting taking a practice putting stroke years ago.

Anyone want to ballpark the weather delay time wise?

Well to be fair, the commentators on the Masters app got it wrong and said it was a new rule so that's probably why some people on twitter were saying it.

And yeah I guess someone could try suggest they were taking a practice stroke... same with if someone swings and completely missing the ball. Guess you would hope it's a game of honesty and rely on a person's word.

The fun one is that a fresh air on the tee puts the ball in play, so you couldn't retee and change club for example. Can be a issue in a mixed match as often partners would be hitting different clubs.

Spieth with a 68 today and I remember him missing at least three putts of 3 feet or less. He could so easily be up around the lead despite the fact that he's barely keeping the ball on the planet.

They seem to think it'll be fairly quick

Shame about the timing of the storm delay... killed Tiger's momentum.

Shocking shot alright. Could still save his par anyway but needs to be making birdie after that drive

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,760 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

McIlroy seems a bit off, in fairness he couldn't possibly keep up the level he's been at.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,172 ✭✭✭✭PARlance

2 shots dropped there with that bogey.

Some steward nearly took Tiger out of it. What a muppet:pac:

He's made too many unforced errors. It's been his story at Augusta. McGinley said it earlier. The player who wins there is usually the one who makes the least mistakes.

A level par round is having a nightmare?? But he really is making a balls of this. So many silly errors. Could be lucky to make the cut.

Is Rory still up **** (Rae's) Creek ?

McIroy - amazing talent but doesn't have the concentration to be "on it" enough.

Woods could win by force of will. McIlroy can't do that.

Rahm is a loose cannon, caddie needs to rein him in. Cracked attacking the green from there.

Ah yeah unreal meltdown. Up there with Sandy Lyle for the worst round ever at Augusta I’d say.
