Further Part Four Lease Q?

Quick question please that i cant find the answer to on the internet. In a further part four, but with no new lease, do i actually need one? Or does the first one just automatically follow on once the 4 years 6 months is done? Thanks!

Automatically rolls over. Next one is 6 years, all new part IV tenancies are now 6 years.
