Apartment In South Dublin - Advice

A relative has retired and wants to buy a Two bedroom Apartment in South Dublin. He does not drive so somewhere close to the Luas or Dart would be necessary, or else somewhere with frequent buses (145, 46A, etc,..) His budget is around €300,000 Would anyone know of any good areas to look at?
