Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    nice screen but poor camera

also it's on android 8 / oreo and will never get an upgrade.

the mi a2 has similar specs (same cpu) but better camera although not an amoled screen and no nfc

stock android though and will be updated to android 10 (on 9 pie now)

under 170 euro on amazon germany or spain

(only 1 version so don't worry about fr/de version listing)

I had an Elephone before and was fine for a small while, then turned to crap really quickly. Would not recommend one again.

yes the smaller companies like this usually have sh1t software that will annoy you very quickly. better to stick to Xiaomi and Huawei who have the resources to do the software properly and not elephone. doogee and umidigi.

also the ram and storage is going to be 3rd tier batch manufacturer reject stuff that isn't as good quality as you get with the bigger companies which increases the chances of failures / crap operation.

Ive had several Elephone phones. They are fine for 6 -9 months, after which, just buy another one!

The thing to watch out for though, is the spyware and malware built into the software. I had random pop ups on my phone screen after a few months. I reset it any everything (in case it was an app) but still got them. The ad pop ups were built into the build of android they had.

that's another reason but probably not as bad as it was before I think.

would avoid these smaller players basically.
