I've yet to see a proper paris roubaix with **** weather.

Saying it'll be a dry dusty one tomorrow and no one's calling it for a winner not even the riders themselves.

Though there does have to be a winner in this guy's picks

2002 was the last wet P-R. Here's a good article about it from Rouleur:

Sounds like it'll be bone dry for tomorrow so. Sagan doesn't seem to be right so far this year. He's still favourite but doesn't look unbeatable at all. Kristoff a serious threat to him

Might have a bet on Boassen Hagen at 50/1

Headwind pretty much all day, the breakaway can’t get away

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,243 ✭✭✭Boscoirl

Took ~100km for a breakaway to firm, just as the fun bits approach

its been a super aggressive hard and almost two hours of racing..

Greipal & Kristoff first of the big names to get a puncture

Now Trentin gets one from the breakaway

Bad look from that photographer but maybe he had checked on the rider before he started taking photos

So far this looks great for Sagan/Kristoff/Dekenkolb

    It’s an amazing pace

He's 1'55 down it seems. Punctures did him in, would have fancied his chances otherwise

He'll pay for it later surely, would be some ride if he could win

    Binoot (spelling) out.

Adam Blythe interviewed him on a pod lately, really likeable lad.

Taylor Phinney is out with a mechanical apparently, hard to miss a guy in that pink kit you'd have thought

Sagan is looking good, he's been near the front for the last 20 km or so

Really quality lead group. I can see them staying away

Yves Lampaert (Deceuninck-QuickStep), Philippe Gilbert (Deceuninck-QuickStep), Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe), Nils Politt (Katusha-Alpecin), Wout van Aert (Jumbo-Visma) and Sep Vanmarcke (EF Education First).

Only way this break doesn't stay away is if ppl start sandbagging Sagan and he decides not to drag them. But don't see that happening
