Clare have kicked some lovely points

Clare crowd Meath in the final third, Meath seem to allow Clare far too much space at the opposite end.

Lovely build up to the goal as I type, lucky enough to get it over the line all the same

Back to good football again just before half time.

its a disgrace in this day and age how bad it is, whether watching live or watching back programmes

It's holding up again now. The phone casting was nearly 4min behind. God knows why.

Some serious points being scored by Clare today.

    Great game of football

Clare 0-12 Meath 1-9 at half time. A goal on 35 mins for Meath then two great points to level it up. Two well matched sides as the scoreline suggests. Good scoring by Clare after all Dublin only managed 0-5 in the 1st half v Dublin ;)

Very good point by Malone there for Clare to level it at halftime.

Good response by Clare after the concession of the meath goal.

Best half of football all weekend. Didn't think I'd be saying that.

    Absolutely!

Straight away Joanne complaining about the quality of game.

If they can't be positive about this game when what's the point.

If anything, the quality (or lack there of) is making it more exciting/unpredictable imo.

Great to see all the children on the field there at half time. What the GAA is all about and its a shame Croke Park has become so corporate.

Couldn't agree more. On RTE they talked up Hurling to the heavens while talk down Football.

Colm Cooper - great player, terrible pundit.

Last free was an appalling decision, fair defending, no sign of foul play, ref couldn’t wait to blow.

Some of the points have been out of this world. If it was in Semple they'd fawn. Absolute pain the way they go on about the game.

That Clare goal was needed - Everytime meath get a bit of a lead, Clare manage to reign them back in

I thought the wind held the ball in air also but the keeper should have should have done better. A well worked 2nd Meath goal, a sore one for Newman.

Very bad wide, Clare looking shell shocked

Clare won’t give up so wouldn’t write them off yet. Meath have messed up a few good attacks which they might regret. Clare will throw Brennan in full forward at some stage and will look for a goal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,925 ✭✭✭✭BonnieSituation

    Clare won't panic.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,709 ✭✭✭shrewdness

Impressive by Clare to keep sticking in there, thought Meath would have kicked on after the 2nd goal.
