Gonna brag about the Joe McDonagh and that lol? Even the Sunday Game doesn't even show it. You were mouthing on here that Cork would beat Kerry yesterday. Stick to the hurley, yous will bottle that as well. Cork GAA are an embarrassment.

Thats the kind of response you'd expect from a 12 year old in fairness, you know what he meant

So lads who do you think will win the hurling next weekend?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,217 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

Why isn't Newman playing at 14? Expecting a small light lad like conlon to go up against Fitzsimons and O'Sullivan was ridiculous tbh

For a minority sport it’ll be mad to see a bigger attendance in croker next week
Not our fault Cork are pathetic bandwagoners. At least Dublin can compete in both codes. Cork prefer to piss away all the money on a white elephant stadium that they cant even fill.

Says it all about the hurling snobs, have to head to the football thread and brag about how great hurling is if the football is bad. Shame half the country doesn't even play it.

I'm hardly a hurling snob but nobody can deny that this is absolutely shíte.
Even a football snob would have to admit that.

Most of the country do actually play hurling, 3 interesting games in Croker yesterday.
Just a pity they dont all play at a standard like Cork, Tip Kilkenny, Dublin etc is all.

Tired of the hurling boys appearing every match running down the football. Insecurity or what. Least the football doesnt leave 20 counties behind!

Meath should be more in this game considering Dublin are not on form.

Football is a one county game.
Look at the attendance of the Leinster final ffs!

They both have dominant teams, but at least the hurling is a bit of a contest.

    Bad bad weekend for football

It's in seriously bad shape from a spectacle to attendance.

    Huge trouble

Loads in the front rows of Davin. Fairly belting it down tbf.

    I'd be leaving too!

All the Dublin money is kicking those Meath wides I guess?

If they could score in any capacity, there might be something worth talking about. Woeful forward play, Reilly in particular shot some howlers.

McStay sucking off McAuley all evening.

Do they have goalposts in Meath? In all seriousness though, they’re not a bad team and surely can’t shoot this badly next time out. About. 6 or 7 of the wides have been really good chances, as well as the two off the post.

I notice a lot of folks say that.
Keep changing or maybe even go back to the 4 winners of the provinces go to a semi final???
    Great times. Less moaning

Theres about 10 teams in the hurling champ at all fella. Minority sport.

Yes, but each of the last 7 years theres been at least 5 or 6 realistic Championship winners, so at least its competitive.

Mind you only 5 years hurling had had only 3 different counties win in a decade with Kilkenny with 8 and people talked of death of hurling. Now they've 4 different winners in 4.

Whereas in same period football had 5 different winners in same decade with Kerry taking 5 of those, but football, particularly Ulster football was seen as competitive.

    Swings and roundabouts

What’s the lowest score from a team in a Leinster final ? Meath must be close here!

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,375 ✭✭✭✭lawred2

    Tragic

    Some load of shoite

Dublin were like a cat playing with a mouse. They have gotten bored and it's now time for them to move on.
