Gaa is ruined due to the absurd ludicrous situation we are not allowed discuss...

You have a thread all for it remember? The one where the Meath moderator said nobody was allowed to disagree with you. Why don't you discuss it there?

The Dublin disconnect even in this thread is exactly what is wrong with the football championship. Incredibly ironic.

He's from Dublin. Played for Vinnies.

The Meath forwards couldn't kick snow off a rope today

4 All Irelands in a row.
    9 leinster's in a row.
18 championship games in a row won.

Anyone that thinks there is a level paying surface in football these days has absolute rocks in their head.

    Competitive championship?

    I dont think so.

A pity, but it is what it is.

Fellas on here bashing the structure of the hurling championship earlier. That’s exactly what football needs. Meath are way off.
And who else in leinster would do any different?

    Meath are back

Fair play to anyone who paid money to watch that.

Feels like the next 10 minutes will be Dublin going through the motions and Meath hitting more awful wides, then in the last 15 Dublin will up the gears and blitz them with 1-5 or something

    Wasn't far off.

Dublin not at their best today but they're a machine when they up the gears. Can't see anyone knocking them off their perch this year.

    Smug head on Gavin

As a man said once “throw your medals in the bin, you got them by cheating”.

    Shameful scenes.

True GAA supporters should avoid attending matches until this is resolved

Scintillating apparently. Easily done when your opponents have given up.

I'll give ye one thing, when ye arent fighting amongst yourselves, ye do whinging quite well in Cork.

Sound like Meath fans booing at the end? Cant blame em. That was an absolute shambles from Meath. Great to see Dean Rock back. Some player.

After the 5 in a row will they for god sake split up Dublin, its horrendous watching this year in year out, even Dublin fans are bored, chances are 2 Dublin teams would even be too good for the rest

I'm from Dublin, so it's not anti Dubs, it's pro-sport.

You are not really a Dub though are you, were you not posting this the same time last year? You are born and lived in Dublin, but your parents are not Dublin people and you were turned years ago but you don't even know it???

    Am I 100 or 50 percent wrong?

We are not allowed discuss the blatant obvious except for on 1 thread.

    It’s laughable.

Problem is that's what's going to happen when you allocate funding on population numbers. The alternative is to reduce funding to Dublin, close clubs and inflate the money being given to clubs outside of Dublin.

These interviews have become utterly pointless - a complete rehashing of the same few lines every single time.

    Certainly not in leinster.
Donegal are well capable of giving them a game.

    Everyone knows it’s a farce

Should be a full boycott until issues are resolved.

Imagine if they split Kerry into North and South in the seventies!?

Even if they could they didn’t have anything approaching enough of a foothold in the Dubs final third to create the sort of chances that would approach making a game of it.

The other thing would be to transplant Dublin in the Ulster Championship, like Galway in the hurling.

Of course that would mean fewer Croke Park pay-days so is never going to be a runner.
