Hi, we are considering moving from Celbridge to Enfield shortly and just wanted some views on the area.

We have been there a couple of times and we know its smaller in comparison, but what is it like to live there?

We will both be driving to work so the commute is not an issue. We are trying to get an idea of the area.

We really like Celbridge but with rising house prices.....you know :-)

Any information on Enfield or opinions welcome, thanks.

I live near the town, Enfield is grand, quiet, rarely any antisocial activity. SuperValu is decent and there is a small Tesco. Only two pubs the best is The Bridge House for food. Few nice takeaways Big Bites (Indian) Lees Chinese and Village Chinese, two chippers and two Italian restaurants.
Streetside Cafe is excellent for breakfast.
There is a small playground near the Supervalu. There is a Primary school but no secondary school and no Church. Public transport is ok there is the train and various buses to dublin.

We have lived here nearly 5 years but the commute into Dublin is a killer, the M4 is mental in the mornings, so much so that we are selling up and moving to North Co Dublin.

Tbh Celbridge is a much better location for commuting to the city.
